First, thank you for coming to my website. I’m an associate creative director and writer with a burning passion for persuasive concepts and copy that hook people in and get results.
Right now, I’m associate creative director at Catalyst, dreaming up compelling concepts that inspire people to support the vital work of charities like Greenpeace and Amnesty.
Before that, I was writing copy for a vast range of clients. One minute I’d be the voice of a charity CEO, crafting an inspiring email about the bitter injustice of economic inequality. And the next I’d be a trusted parenting expert, reassuring a new mum about weaning a fussy toddler.
My mantra is ‘keep things simple’ and I love nothing better than transforming brain-achingly, complex subjects into something fun, concise and crystal clear.
Editor’s eye
A background in creative direction and editing magazines means I’ll view your products as a whole – making sure every aspect of the design is working its socks off to grab people’s attention, drive home key messages and inspire action.
Versatile
As a journalist, I specialise in health, writing for a range of consumer titles, from The Times to Red. While copywriting and internal communications consultancy have taken me from farming, international development and climate change, to architecture, retail and television.
Strategy first!
I love diving head first into new projects, but only after whipping up a strategic plan – what are our goals, who are we targeting, what do we want them to know, feel and do. And how will we evaluate the results?
Friendly service
If you’re wondering how I’ll fit in with your team, I’m versatile having worked in-house, for agencies and as a freelance too. I know how busy life gets, so I make it my mission to make my clients’ lives as easy as possible, providing a fun and friendly service. If you want to know what clients think of me, take a look here.
